South Central Indiana Jobs With Justice, AFSCME, and the CWA

Over 200 supporters rallied against "outsourcing" and "privatizing" by Indiana University outside of Assembly Hall before the Hoosiers' game on Saturday, January 27, 2007.

Hundreds of signatures were obtained to petition the I.U. Trustees to reconsider their proposal to eliminate good union jobs.

There are now over 3,500 signatures on the petitions.

Senator Vi Simpson was on hand to lend her support as were members of numerous local unions and social justice groups.
