The Letter to our Elected Representatives in Congress

Special thanks to you,

INDIANA IBEW came through in a big way. Its much appreciated that you take the moment to make things happen despite there being so much going on, and for your patience with the mis-listing of the states (I triple-, quadruple and quintuple-checked before we sent out the last version that we had it right).

Big thanks is in order is all!

Looking forward to making this New Day on Trade a policy reality!

In Solidarity,
- James Ploeser

Central Wabash Valley Building & Construction Trades Council is sponsoring a:

Fair Trade Voter Forum!

Thursday May 15th - 7pm - Terre Haute Labor Temple - 33 S. 13th St.

*With so much campaign trail attention on trade policies like NAFTA, the Peru Free Trade

Agreement (FTA), the pending Colombian FTA and the global economy, there's no better

time to get educated! Before the next election, join us for an open and free to the public

Terre Haute community discussion, and find out where candidates stand

on this crucial issue affecting all Hoosiers.*

ISU Economics Professor Don Richards - an expert in International Political Economy - will set the

tone and explain the controversy, and we'll hear from local leaders about the impact of trade deals

like NAFTA on working people. Dr. Lisa Phillips from the History Department at ISU will also be part

of the panel. Other panel members to be scheduled. Then we'll get to Q & A for participants.
